About Ben Weber
Councilor Ben Weber is a Workers Rights Attorney, Boston Public Schools parent, and youth soccer coach. Additionally, he is the Boston City Councilor for District 6 representing West Roxbury, Roslindale, and Jamaica Plain on the Council.
Ben began his legal career 18 years ago providing free legal services for migrant farmworkers in the South. Ben has spent the last 11 years fighting for fair pay for workers through high-impact class action litigation with the nationally-renowned Boston law firm Lichten & Liss-Riordan, P.C., representing delivery drivers, nurses, Black and Latino Boston police officers, and firefighters. He also worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Mass. Attorney General’s Office under Martha Coakley, where he prosecuted employers for wage law violations and also argued over 30 Massachusetts Appeals Court cases on behalf of a wide range of state agencies.
As City Councilor, Councilor Weber has:

Protected workers rights, supporting increased wage protections and an extreme heat ordinance for safety procedures.
Fought to Increase housing affordability at every level.
Expanded youth sports and park facilities for all in the community.
